Back in Black

Hello Everyone,
 Now,  that things seem to be settling down in Phoenix, I am finding myself having more time to blog! Yes, that's right, I've settled down in Phoenix despite my severe longing for the Bay! Maybe, if I complain enough, I will eventually get my way?! A true Domestic Goddess would know how to work it such that she gets her way?! In the meantime, I am going to take advantage of being able to escape to California whenever the opportunity presents itself. And, I did! For Labor Day, the boys and I escaped to beautiful Southern California for mini beach weekend getaway, which also included a " mom getaway" when both Mom and I choose to go out for dinner! Considering I had both boys, I had to choose an outfit that was simple, yet elegant and could withstand stains since I was tired of having to send my clothes to the cleaners after just one wear. Or, in worse cases, just get one wear out of them. For dinner, I choose to go with the basics, an all black ensemble, with a snakeskin print hijab to add some color. I loved it, because it was simple, yet elegant, and, most importantly, child friendly!

Pretty in Pink

Hello Everyone, 

  Following my last post about traveling with the lions, I figured I would share an outfit from our most recent trip to the Wisconsin Dells. Although it was almost two weekends ago, I feel as though it were just yesterday. Honestly, I feel our summers are spent living from vacation to vacation. Speaking of vacations, were getting ready to take off the Midwest again. But before I do, I had to share with you being pretty in pink. As many of you do not know, I am obsessed with anything black, pink and red.. so its only natural, that when my parents wanted to gift me a Chanel, they did so in pink! Normally, its my baby bag I am hauling around, but on vacation, it gets replaced :)
